Skincare Products & Routines

All products are listed in order I would apply them. These routines are based on personal experience and a genuine love for skincare. Remember, consistency is key with skincare and it's best to apply products from thinnest to thickest. I'm sharing products that I love, these routines are not medical recommendations or advice, as always I advise seeing a licensed professional if you have skin concerns.

AM Essentials for Everyone (Budget Friendly)

I've tried several Vitamin C's and Vanicream is my favorite. Vitamin C enhances the skin's brightness, it's gentle for sensitive skin and applies clear.

It was a lot of trial and error to find a moisturizer that was cost effective and did not cause breakouts, this one is both. It's light weight and does not pill under skincare and makeup.

The best SPF is the one you'll wear and I love this one. It is a mineral SPF 30 that provides a dewy glow.

PM Essentials for Everyone (Budget Friendly)

This was recommended by my dermatologist and I absolutely love it. It gently exfoliates with salicylic acid and hydrates with hyaluronic acid.

Retinol helps reduce signs of aging skin. Dry and flaking skin is normal and expected when starting a retinol. I suggest starting with once a week while working up to a few times a week and then nightly.

If you struggle with acne, this may be your new fav PM product. Retinol is a "trust the process" product so I suggest working up to nightly use of it. If you're struggling with acne I also recommend seeing a

dermatologist.

This is a thick moisturizer that can be applied to the face and body, perfect for winter. If you're looking for just one moisturizer the AM daily moisturizer (listed above) is my favorite.

Workout Essentials

SPF always! The best SPF is the one you'll wear and I love this one. It is a mineral SPF 30 that provides a dewy glow and can be worn alone or with makeup.

I keep this spray in my purse and use it all day everyday, specifically after workouts. Hypochlorous acid spray acts as an antibacterial for acne. Safe for use on your face, chest, and back. It is gentle product and does not dry skin out.

I love Aquaphor, it can be used anywhere. Before the gym I use it as chapstick and on any dry skin. For anyone with microbladed brows, Aquaphor is also great to protect your brows from active skincare ingredients that cause fading quicker.

Other Skincare I love (Budget Friendly)

Nick and I both use this serum. It's hydrating, a great price point, and does not feel sticky. For AM and PM use.

Vaseline is a cure all for dry skin. It is non pore clogging so if you're feeling extra dry this winter, you can apply vaseline as lotion. I love using Vaseline on my lips and under eyes at night.

Medical Grade Skincare

While I realize medical grade skincare isn't in everyone's budget (hence the point of this page) these are just a few products that I LOVE and think they are worth every penny.

This is the holy grail for acne. SkinBetter's retinol has a hydrating factor which means unlike traditional retinol, these products do not cause irritation, redness, or peeling. It's easier to tolerate which typically means It can be used nightly. Retinol is PM use only.

Most neck creams do not impress me, this one does. I noticed a significant difference after consistent use AM and PM. This cream targets the "tech neck" horizontal lines that form from looking down at our phones all day.

This is perfect for anyone that does not have acne prone skin. It's similar to the clearing serum as in it does not cause irritation and can typically be used nightly. Retinol is for PM use only.

I wear this tinted SPF 75 every day, it has replaced my foundation. SunBetter is thicker than most tinted SPF's I've tried so it provides more coverage. It's also tone smart so it adapts to your skin tone.

Body

I've used this for years. It's a soft silicon brush that can be thrown in the dishwasher or washer to clean.

My fav scent ever. It's discontinued at Victoria's Secret but still available on Amazon.

This is the most gentle body wash and it smells great.

A thick moisturizer that can be applied to the face and body, perfect for winter.
